Founder and president Jim Barnas possesses a complete and diversified portfolio of education, experience, background, and licenses that allows him to provide the leadership skills and professional advice that healthcare professionals are seeking.

Jim has been involved in real estate brokerage, architectural design, contracting, and real estate development for over 30 years. Jim is a licensed architect, real estate broker, and building professional in the State of Michigan.

Jim earned a bachelor's degree in architecture (1982) and a construction engineering degree (1984) from Lawrence Technical University in Southfield, Michigan. After graduation, Jim worked for Etkin Construction and Skanska USA for 20 years before starting Contracting Resources in 2001. Contracting Resources, a consulting, commercial contracting, design/build, and real estate development company specializing in health care, is headquartered in Brighton, Michigan.

Healthcare Real Estate Services was founded to provide healthcare professionals with the options, analysis, recommendations, and solutions to all their real estate requirements.
